A Portuguese professional footballer who plays for the Spanish club, Cristiano Ronaldo was honoured with a trophy on Friday, October 2, 2015 by his club Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
He was honoured by his club, Real Madrid for being the team’s all time leading goal scorer. The ceremony was attended by the Real Madrid’s coach Rafa Benitez, the striker’s family including his mother and son, his friends and teammates. The club’s President Florentino Perez gave a speech praising the Cristiano Ronaldo during the ceremony.
Ronaldo scored his 323rd and 324th goals on Wednesday in Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Malmo in a Champions League game in Sweden thereby reaching 501 mark and surpassing the 500 mark previously held by Raul Gonzalez. Congratulations to Cristiano Ronaldo.
