PROTESTING SO THAT GOVERNOR SAMUEL ORTOM OF BENUE STATE (NIGERIA) CAN PAY PENSIONERS THEIR PENSION ALLOWANCES AND ARREARS IS MEDICINE AFTER DEATH.

It is very unfortunate, surprising and sad to hear that pensioners in Benue state (Nigeria) are not getting what rightfully belong to them which they worked for in the early years of their lives, which governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state (Nigeria) is denying them. Viewers Corner News team have been campaigning against governors in Nigeria who are owing workers and pensioners so that the voters would know such group of governors in Nigeria as bad news to their respective states and should not be re-elect to office. Re-electing those groups of debt owing governors is a continuation of poverty and hardship in their various states across Nigeria. Look at the pensioners in Benue state (Nigeria) who should be enjoying their retirement, wanting to go out and stage a protest so that they can get their pension allowances to buy food and medicine. Sadly these governors who are owing those elders receive their salaries on monthly basis without stress but refuse to pay the elders their pension allowances. On the other hand, workers and pensioners contributed to why they are suffering because most of those governors would buy bags of rice, some little cash gifts and give to the elders and workers so that they can vote for them. Immediately they win the election and sworn into office, no one would hear from them again, at that point suffering would continue which is one of the tricks of those debt owing governors in Nigeria which Viewers Corner News team is trying to stop. In the past, we (Viewers Corner News team) advised the voters in Benue state (Nigeria) not to re-elect governor Samuel Ortom to office because he is a bad news to governance but the voters ignored it and now the pain he is giving to workers and pensioners in Benue state (Nigeria) is too much to bear. Look at Kogi state for example, governor Yahaya Bello is owing workers and pensioners months if not years of unpaid salaries and pension allowances, this same governor Yahaya Bello is asking voters in Kogi state (Nigeria) to re-elect him to office. Is this not madness? A governor who can not pay workers salaries and pension allowances to elders, what could he possibly do differently if he is re-elected to office? Perhaps he may have given some gifts of various sorts to some people so that he can win the upcoming governorship election in Kogi state (Nigeria) and if he eventually wins the election, then suffering would continue. The warning signs are everywhere in Kogi state, indicating that if governor Yahaya Bello is re-elected to office, there would be lots of difficulties ahead but no one is listening until the unthinkable starts happening. Again, Viewers Corner News team is calling on governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state (Nigeria) to pay elders and workers in his state their salaries and pension allowances. Pensioners need their money at their old age to take care of their needs. Things generally are very hard and elders rely on their pension money to feed and buy medicine. We (Viewers Corner News team) would also use this opportunity to plead with pensioners and workers in Kogi state (Nigeria) to learn from what is happening in Benue state (Nigeria), workers and pensioners are in pain because their salaries and allowances are not paid. Please do not allow such situation to befall you elders in Kogi state (Nigeria), meaning that if you re-elect governor Yahaya Bello to office, hardship would continue which voters in Kogi state (Nigeria) should avoid. However, the choice is all yours, if you vote nicely you would enjoy the full benefits of democracy but if you vote wrongly, then no one is to blame but you. Again vote wisely to avoid “if I had known”.
