Professor Nnenna Oti was the INEC returning officer for the Abia State 2023 governorship election. She is a great woman who has been on the side of truth, and no one can ever buy her over. Our point is that the people of Abia State should always remember her for all the good work she did during the governorship election in Abia State. Even when those in power mounted pressure on her and went as far as bribing her with huge sums of money so that she could change the result of the governorship election to favour a particular political party’s candidate in Abia State, she rejected it and said that the truth must prevail. Professor Nnenna Oti announced the governorship election result, as it should be, which the Labour Party candidate won. Now the people of Abia State are enjoying the good work of Governor Alex Otti because of Professor Nnenna Oti, who refused to play dirty. Right now, Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, based on our findings, has taken the lead when compared to governors in various states in Nigeria, including those who led Abia State before he took over power.
