Yahya Jammeh who is the president of Gambia took over power by force in 1994 through a bloodless coup, now everyone in his country (Gambia) and also around the world expect him to do the right thing by conducting an election which would bring into the country a democratic government. This would give Gambia people the privilege of expressing their opinion on matters of development as it affects them which is normal in any democratic government but this man (Yahya Jammeh) has refused to accept the government of the people. Honestly he has outstayed his usefulness in power and should leave, he is a dictator and any country practising such system of government would always lack behind because most governments around the world would not like to do business with such country. Again in his country (Gambia), they are lots of human rights abuses tied on Yahya Jammeh’s neck. He has a terrible squad that carries out most of the atrocities in the country and no one would ever challenge him therefore we are appealing and at the same time advising Yahya Jammeh (the president of Gambia) to try and conduct election in his country. Let the people’s voice be heard because military rule would always bring setback to any country it exists which is regarded as the worst form of government in the world.
