PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN OF RUSSIA PLANS TO VISIT CHINA ON SATURDAY, THIS WEEK.

Viewers Corner News correspondent in Moscow learnt that President Vladimir Putin of Russia will pay a visit to China on Saturday this week, June 25th at the invitation of the Chinese president, Xi Jinping. The two presidents would sign a deal on high-speed rail worth about $6.2 billion and not less than 30 trade agreements would be signed too, also they are expected to discuss on the military cooperation between the two countries. Recently, President Xi Jinping has been travelling all over Central Asia and Eastern Europe to gather support for his “One Belt, One Road development strategy” (building a trade and infrastructure network stretching from China to Western Europe and Africa) and this contradicts with the Washington-led Trans-Pacific Partnership (free trade pact). President Vladimir Putin is eager to strengthen bilateral relationship between Russia and China during this meeting according to report.
