PRESIDENT TAYYIP ERDOGAN LED GOVERNMENT HAS REMOVED TWENTY FOUR ELECTED MAJORS IN A FIGHT TO DESTROY THE KURDISH MILITANTS.

President Tayyip Erdogan’s government has removed twenty four mayors in Kurdish-run municipalities over their alleged links to militants and replaced them with new administrators on Sunday, September 11, 2016. The other mayors of four municipalities (three from the ruling AK Party and one from the nationalist MHP opposition) were also removed over alleged links to Gulen’s organization. Viewers Corner News correspondent in Ankara gathered that the mayor’s removal has triggered protest in the southeastern region bordering Syria and Iraq, Police also dispersed demonstrators outside local government buildings in Suruc with fired water cannon and tear gas. The Turkey interior ministry said that these 28 mayors (12 of them were arrested) are under investigation for providing assistance and support to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and to Gulen’s organization.
