Majority of people in Zimbabwe are calling on president Robert Mugabe to step down from power since he has no clue on how to better the economy of the country (Zimbabwe) but he refused and keep on hanging there. The world have seen series of protests going on in the country as a result of president Robert Mugabe’s inability to manage the economy of the country nicely which has created lots of hardship to the citizens of Zimbabwe. You do not use sympathy as yardstick to run a government, the system should be if you can not do the job for which you are elected to do then when your tenure ends, you step down but if the people are satisfied with your leadership then they could reelect you to power. This is not the situation in Zimbabwe, president Robert Mugabe has undermined the principles of democracy which set a specific terms in which a leader should work on but president Robert Mugabe who has governed Zimbabwe for 36 years has refused to abide by these rules instead he has adopted a terrible policy that has destroyed the economy of the country. Again he told his critics to leave his government alone because the citizens of Zimbabwe are satisfied with his leadership which is not true. People of the world are concerned because people of Zimbabwe are human beings who deserve to live a normal and happy life without being subjected to a terrible economic hardship of president Robert Mugabe’s policies.
