The situation in Zimbabwe has reached an alarming stage without president Robert Mugabe knowing what to do to calm the situation down, this elderly statesman (Robert Mugabe) has refused to step down from power so that someone with fresh ideas can come in and try his or her luck. The economic hardship in Zimbabwe is hitting the citizens in a severe manner, salaries of workers are not paid, the treasury of Zimbabwe is empty based on the information Viewers Corner News gathered from an insider who is a senior government official in Robert Mugabe’s government. He told us that salaries of the soldiers in Zimbabwe have not been paid regularly. This is a problem because Zimbabweans are worried that if such delay in paying soldiers’ salaries continues, the unexpected could happen coupled with series of protests calling on president Robert Mugabe to step down. This is a country (Zimbabwe) that was doing nicely in the past when the white farmers were there but Robert Mugabe drove them away, shared their farm land among the black people of the country and now they can not even feed themselves, corruption is worse in the country, law and order broken down.
Honestly the mistake president Robert Mugabe made was driving the white farmers away, he should have adopted a unity government which would involve every citizen of the country and also carry out a land reform program that would give both the white farmers and the black people the opportunity to work side by side with each other. Somehow it is too late now for president Robert Mugabe but then we (Viewers Corner News and the advisory team) shall continue to pray hoping that whoever comes after him would plan and know what is good for the people so as to avoid terrible mistakes that would create more problems in the country (Zimbabwe) like we have seen today.
