Nigeria’s budget for 2016 which President Buhari presented recently to the National Assembly has been received with mixed feelings from the Nigerian public according to Viewers Corner’s correspondent in Abuja (Nigeria) which is normal in any democratic system of government. Surely everyone has the right to voice out his/her opinion on an issue such as this but Viewers Corner’s economic team has carefully analyzed the budget and we discovered that it was properly prepared and also geared towards the right direction. With such budget if carefully and properly implemented, it will go along way in relieving the hardship the Nigerian people are facing and equally boosts the economy. What Viewers Corner’s team cherish so much is the fact that President Buhari came to the National Assembly himself to present the 2016 budget and not sending his minister of finance to do the presentation for him, he should be commended for that because the past Nigerian leaders normally send their ministers to do the presentations.
However, we (Viewers Corner) pray and hope that the pains the Nigerian people are passing through at the moment due to the poor governance on the part of the past Nigerian leaders should be fixed by President Buhari’s administration so that the Nigerian people will have a good reason to be happy again.
