There is no disputing the fact that Nigeria and her citizens are facing real economic problems just like every other nation of the world. On the other hand, president Buhari and his team should be commended for rescuing the country (Nigeria) from the past leaders who led Nigeria without foresight and their inability to put economic issues right. Viewers Corner News team quite agree that there are lots to be done in Nigeria but believe it or not, president Buhari and his team shall get it right like we (Viewers Corner News team) wrote in our previous articles that no government anywhere in the world can function very effectively without adequate funds to plan and execute projects which president Buhari and his team have good answers to by trying to end the careless and reckless spending of funds. Governments of the world spend money when it is necessary to do so, meaning that every loophole must be closed to get things done the right way and this has created some economic hardships for the people of the country (Nigeria) but this is not going to be a permanent thing. Relieve shall come when most of the projects are put in place, this is how economic policy works. Unlike the past government who just keep on spending money without properly thinking of the future and what Viewers Corner News team observed among majority of Nigerians is that once a government is making cash available to them, then that government is regarded as the best but what they fail to understand is that the past government was borrowing money and at the same time using the reserve to finance and feed the country (Nigeria). Honestly it will get to a point where there would be no more cash flow to run things, by then the country (Nigeria) may collapse. Therefore those that are blaming president Buhari and his team should please think twice before doing so because he has done a great job for the country (Nigeria). It is true that things are hard now in Nigeria but as time goes on, it shall get better. Our (Viewers Corner News team) advice to APC/President Buhari’s led government is this; your policy on agriculture should be followed to a conclusive end. Always listen to the advice of those that meant well for the country (Nigeria) and to you as a person irrespective of political party affiliation and before any appointment or lists are made available to the general public, it should be reviewed properly so as to avoid bringing unwanted people into the picture because any government who does so means that there is communication gap within the system of leadership which may automatically dent the image of the government in power. The APC central should reach out to all APC states and support them in whichever way they could if need be and at the same time reach out to other states in the country (Nigeria) too. The information department of the federal government of Nigeria should do more by letting Nigerians know why the economic situation of the country (Nigeria) is moving at a slow pace and continuously talking to Nigerians would make them understand that president Buhari’s government is on the right part to make the country (Nigeria) great. Keeping quiet and running a close door economic policy may not be the best method for the federal government of Nigeria.
