The president of Nigeria (President Buhari) accepting that there are some trusted officials in his administration who are corrupt is a way forward towards eradicating the disease which has eaten so deep in the country (Nigeria). We (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to him (President Buhari) to institute a panel that would urgently investigate those suspects who are making news in the country (Nigeria) because they are all serving in President Buhari’s government. Look at the Attorney General of Nigeria (Justice Abubakar Malami) who is being accused of stealing billions, if not trillions of Naira. He is one of President Buhari’s trusted ministers and up till now he is still in his position as the Attorney general of Nigeria. If it were a country where laws are working properly, immediately his name was mentioned in a corruption matter of such magnitude, he should have stepped aside until the allegation against him is investigated and tried in a law court. If he is not found guilty, he can then go back to his job but if found guilty, he should be sent to jail immediately for betraying the people of Nigeria but right now, President Buhari is still allowing him (Justice Abubakar Malami) perform his duty without any action taking against him which is not nice, such serious issue needs urgent attention. Again, it is not only acknowledging that there is corruption in your administration but working to bring those individuals to face the law is what makes any leader unique which we (Viewers Corner News team) are asking President Buhari to do. Bring those corrupt Nigerian politicians who have succeeded in looting the treasury of the country (Nigeria) to face the law and if they are found guilty, they should be send to prison for a very long time which would serve as a lesson to others who are planning to loot the treasury of the country (Nigeria) in the near future. Nigeria as a country needs an honest and a decisive leader who would tame those con politicians in the country before Nigeria can achieve greatness, certainly President Buhari is not the person to do that anymore. The hope lots of Nigerians had when he was first elected to office in 2015, believing that he would eradicate corruption in the country (Nigeria) or bring it to the lowest level is no longer there which is the truth. However, we (Viewers Corner News team) shall keep on praying, hoping that someday God Almighty would send an honest and a decisive individual who would eradicate corruption completely in Nigeria.
