President Buhari is a great man anytime, very honest starting from his days as a military officer till today as a politician. His type is rare to find in Nigeria which is the truth and this brings us to asking a question; Who would take over from President Buhari after his tenure of office ends in 2023? Looking around the build up of All Progressives Congress (APC), majority of those politicians in that party have lots of skeletons in their cupboards and may not have easy landing after President Buhari’s tenure ends in 2023 which is the truth. On the other hand, if the right person is not found such vacuum may bring back the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) to continue from where they stopped which majority of Nigerians may not want. One good thing we (Viewers Corner News team) observed in the just concluded elections in Nigeria is that the voters voted on individual merits and not necessarily on political party’s ground. Though some irregularities were recorded in some places but with time things shall get better. Also across Nigeria, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won more states than All Progressives Congress (APC), however the good news is that All Progressives Congress (APC) shall have control of the federal government, the Senate and the House of Representative which will make the passage of bills quicker and easier for the development of the country (Nigeria) hopefully. Another thing APC should put in their mind is to correct the mistakes they made in the past because most states which APC should have won easily were not given proper attention, hence they fell for PDP. Ebonyi state is one of them, hopefully 2023 shall be different.
