This is one of the financial rascalities that some politicians in Nigeria are preaching against. How can the leadership of Nigeria suggest buying a presidential yacht at this difficult time in the country when the people of Nigeria can barely feed properly? This does not make sense, in our opinion. The money for the proposed presidential yacht, which is above five billion naira, can go a long way in putting the economy of Nigeria in better shape. A presidential yacht can be bought when all the necessary things to grow the economy of Nigeria have been fixed properly. So suggesting to buy a presidential yacht for such a huge amount of money will further ruin the economy of Nigeria. Such an idea should be thrown into the trash box; instead, we suggest that the government of Nigeria should use the money to give the people of Nigeria steady light and also build good roads across the country. Again, it is not a good idea to buy a presidential yacht at this point, when the economy of Nigeria is facing challenges.
