PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA OF UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAS BANNED A SOLITARY CONFINEMENT FOR JUVENILES IN FEDERAL PRISONS.

Viewers Corner News correspondent in Washington learnt that President Barack Obama of United States of America has banned a solitary confinement for juveniles in federal prisons. President Barack Obama who is pushing to reform U.S correctional system before the end of his stay in the White House said that his government wants to reduce the number of inmates incarcerated in the prisons. He cited case of Kalief Browder, a 16-year-old teenager who was accused of stealing a backpack and later committed suicide after staying two years in the notorious Rikers Island prison complex in New York. President Obama also said that solitary confinement can have a terrible psychological effects on an individual and should be banned. President Obama’s prison reforms are expected to affect about 10,000 inmates positively in the United States of America.
