This is the beauty of democracy, if a political party that lost an election is not satisfied with the outcome of the election result, the next line of action would be to head to the law court which the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria is trying to do. Viewers Corner News correspondent in Lagos (Nigeria) informed us that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria believes that their candidate (Prof. Kolapo Olusola) won the recent concluded governorship election in Ekiti state which according to them was rigged by All Progressives Congress (APC) using their federal power to achieve that. Now hear this; how did Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria think that they can win the Ekiti state governorship election? It can never be possible. First, governor Ayodele Fayose and his choice of candidate are owing workers’ salaries and pensioners’ allowances for months if not years, corruption has taken over the administration of governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state (Nigeria). The people of Ekiti state (Nigeria) are passing through difficult times as a result of bad leadership created by governor Ayodele fayose and many other issues which the people of Ekiti state hold against him and his choice of candidate. With all these pressing issues, majority of the people of Ekiti state (Nigeria) refused to vote for governor Ayodele Fayose’s choice of candidate and both of these men are members of PDP which is known in Nigeria and around the world as the most corrupt political party in the country (Nigeria). Honestly, Nigerians are wiser now and no amount of money any governorship candidate in Nigeria would share to win the minds of voters as long as the governor and his choice of candidate are not working for the betterment of the people of the state in question. This is exactly what happened to governor Ayodele Fayose and his choice of candidate for the governorship of Ekiti state (Nigeria).
However, democracy has given everyone the right to be heard but then, we (Viewers Corner News team) are watching to see how the law court in Nigeria would handle this case.
