Senator Paulker Emmanuel of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said recently in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state (Nigeria), that PDP lacks internal democracy.
To some extent, Senator Paulker Emmanuel was right but Viewers Corner is adding that as long as some of the corrupt Peoples Democratic Party leaders and members without conscience are still in the party and when they go wrong, no one is able to challenge them for some reasons best known to them, then moving forward will always be a problem for the party.
Therefore, the only solution for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is to be transparent, honest, dedicated and being fair at all times.
Again, within the political party (PDP), they are gambling with each other. The honest individuals within the party are not given the opportunity to work for the best interest of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) just because the others who not honest have godfathers and manipulations become the order of the day. This is too bad. However, Viewers Corner will advise the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to retrace their footsteps and restructure the party by allowing the honest ones to be in the right position within the party (PDP). Having done this, they can then present themselves and their party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the Nigerian public as a changed party and also as honest individuals who have learnt and corrected their mistakes, and are ready for change. They will also promise the Nigerian public that they will be at their services always. This is only way they may win the voters confidence again because in the past, corruption and mismanagement were part of their system. Once again, PDP should reform their political party if they have the intention of winning any free and fair election in Nigeria again.
