PEDESTRIAN BRIDGES IN LAGOS CITY NEED A NEW FACE-LIFT. THIS IS VERY URGENT TO AVOID THE UNTHINKABLE FROM HAPPENING.

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state is one of the best governors in Nigeria, he has a good team who advise him on the way forward for the state. Since he became the governor of Lagos state, he has done remarkably well in various areas of development which has
earned him a great name in history. He (governor Akinwunmi Ambode) is also a listening governor who would always want to put things right in his state (Lagos State) and based on that, we (Viewers Corner News team) are commending him for being there for the people of Lagos state and Nigeria in
general. However we would use this opportunity to point out this important issue to him which we believe he would use his good office to execute nicely as we are suggesting here which is the issue of pedestrian bridges in Lagos city. Our
(Viewers Corner News) correspondent who visited Lagos city recently gathered that a pedestrian bridge at Ketu (Lagos
city) was crowded with people trying to cross the road. The terrible aspect was the number of people using the pedestrian bridge at a particular time looks so scary and the bridge is not solidly built. Even someone who is not a civil engineer would understand the poor quality of work done on that pedestrian bridge when it was constructed. The pedestrian bridge looks beautiful but not solid. When such bridge is carrying more than expected, it could collapse and that may result to loss of innocent lives which we do not pray for, therefore we (Viewers Corner News and the advisory team) are appealing to the Lagos state governor (Akinwunmi
Ambode) to kindly and urgently look into this issue in order to ensure that new pedestrian bridges are built across the city of Lagos most especially areas that attract traffics in their large numbers. If such important issue is not given proper attention, it may result to something else which we are praying to God to save those that are using the bridges on daily basis. Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state is a great man and would act accordingly to put things right, please do not ignore this pedestrian bridge issue. Now is the time to act because tomorrow may be too late.
