Patricia de Lille, the mayor of Cape Town (South Africa) has been sacked by her political party Democratic Alliance (DA) over an alleged mismanagement and corruption. According to the information, she (Patricia de Lille) was stripped of membership of the Democratic Alliance (DA). She has also lost her seven-year-old position as mayor and on the city council as she has been stripped of membership. Ian Neilson, the deputy mayor will temporarily take over as the mayor of Cape Town until the City Council elects a new successor.
