PAKISTAN ACCUSED INDIAN ACTRESS, PRIYANKA CHOPRA OF SUPPORTING A NUCLEAR WAR, ASKS UNITED NATIONS TO REMOVE HER AS GOODWILL AMBASSADOR.

Pakistan has asked the United Nations to remove Priyanka Chopra (37-year-old Indian actress and former Miss World) as goodwill ambassador. The actress was accused of supporting a nuclear war over her pro-army tweet. Priyanka Chopra was appointed a UNICEF goodwill ambassador in 2010 and 2016. According to the information our correspondent gathered, an official complaint against the actress, demanding her removal as a UN goodwill ambassador has been lodged with the United Nations by Pakistan. Priyanka Chopra came under fire over a tweet she posted on 26 February “Jai Hind (Hail India) #IndianArmedForces” after Indian fighter jets crossed into Pakistani territory and conducted air raids. Earlier this month, Indian government revoked Article 370 of its constitution which gave special rights to Indian-administered Kashmir (mostly Muslim) and that has worsened relations with Pakistan. Pakistan in response have cut trade with India, cut diplomatic ties, suspend train and bus services.
