Governor Rochas Okorocha in our (Viewers Corner News team) watch is among the most corrupt governors in Nigeria. Though there are others who we have written articles about in the past but right now, we are focusing on governor Rochas Okorocha. Governor Okorocha’s attempt to have his family installed permanently in Imo state political system failed completely which is good. Even his manipulations to get elected in the senate has also hit the rock. All these happenings are God’s own doing, meaning that there is time for everything and no one can fool all the people all the time. This is a governor (governor Rochas Okorocha) who can not pay workers salaries and pensioners allowances properly in his state but was able to spend billions of Naira on irrelevant issues using Imo state (Nigeria) money and the rest went into private pockets. Recently Viewers Corner News team visited a housing estate (Akachi Estate) in Owerri, Imo state (Nigeria) allegedly owned by Nkechi Rochas Okorocha (the wife of governor Rochas Okorocha). What we saw there was unbelievable. In our (Viewers Corner News team) calculations, that beautiful estate (Akachi Estate) worth billions of Naira which perhaps was built with Imo State allocations from the federal government of Nigeria or from tax payers money. At this point, we (Viewers Corner News team) concluded that this could be one of the reasons governor Rochas Okorocha is unable to pay workers salaries and pensioners allowances in his state. Also looking at such estate allegedly owned by the wife of governor Rochas Okorocha who is not a business person, issues of credibility begin to run in our minds. Somehow these governors in Nigeria use their wife’s names to set up huge ventures for fear of being caught or seen as corrupt politicians but at the end they would still be fished out. However, we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to the governor elect of Imo State (Emeka Ihedioha) to never follow governor Rochas Okorocha’s mismanagement system in running his state. Please think more of the people of Imo State (Nigeria). Create conducive atmosphere for everyone in Imo State (Nigeria), pay workers salaries and pensioners allowances properly as at when due. Let all these be your priorities immediately you are sworn into office as the governor of Imo State (Nigeria).
