The immediate past governor of Ondo state (Nigeria) Dr.Olusegun Mimiko may have tried his best in governing the state but then his best was not good enough based on the outcome of the recent election held in the state which brought Mr Rotimi Akeredolu as the new governor of Ondo state. One thing is winning election, another is being able to use the available resources within the state to better the lives of the people of the state that is why you are elected. Again not fulfilling the promises made to Ondo state people during your election campaign would be a slap on the face of your administration, therefore we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to Mr Rotimi Akeredolu who is now the governor of Ondo state to learn from the mistakes of the immediate past governor of Ondo state and get things properly done. We are saying so because for about seven months and more, the immediate past governor of Ondo state was unable to pay workers their salaries and as a governor this is the first thing your government should do. If workers are not paid, how do you want them to survive? These are the people who voted for you to lead them believing that you would take care of their needs as you promised during the campaign period. However now that the new governor has taken over the leadership of the state (Ondo state), we pray and hope that governor Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) keeps to his campaign promises. Please make sure that workers receive their salaries regularly and the Ondo state Seniors (Pensioners) should also be paid punctually. This is very important because these are Seniors (Pensioner) who worked throughout their lives in the country (Nigeria), they deserve to be happy at their old age. Please do not keep their allowances waiting, again they should be paid regularly.
