Democracy is good which gives everyone the freedom to express his or her views on any issue, but then Oby Ezekwesili (the ex-minister of education in Nigeria) who allegedly predicted doom for the recently launched Nigeria national carrier got it all wrong. However, her reasons may be correct, but then president Buhari’s government before leaving office would set a standard which the next government who would take over after his administration would follow the good works by making sure that the Nigeria national carrier stays.
Another important fact here is that the past governments were so much into corruption and could not pay attention to most valuable projects owned by Nigeria. Honestly, having a national carrier like the Nigeria Airways would bring lots of benefits to the country (Nigeria) if managed properly, hence the issue of setting up a proper standard for continuity and accountability should be the message here instead of predicting doom for the national carrier. President Buhari’s administration is doing very well and should be commended for a job well done. Look at the Abuja (Nigeria) light rail, it is functioning now, all thanks to president Buhari’s administration.
We (Viewers Corner News team) would use this opportunity to plead with the federal government of Nigeria to put in place a good maintenance team which would take care of these facilities built by president Buhari’s government across Nigeria so that the good standard created would remain so in many years to come.
