NOT LESS THAN THIRTEEN PEOPLE WERE REPORTED DEAD AND MANY SERIOUSLY INJURED IN INDIAN NORTH EAST ASSAM STATE ATTACK.

Viewers Corner News source in India informed us that gunmen suspected to belong to the regional separatist group attacked market area in India northeast state of Assam killing about 13 people and wounded many. According to the information, these gunmen who wore military uniforms entered the busy market in Kokrajhar (northeastern state of Assam) and started shooting and throwing grenades indiscriminately inside the market. One of the attackers was killed and security forces are still searching for the remaining attackers who were believed to be hiding in nearby forest. Though no group has claimed responsible for the attack but Indian authorities have blamed the attack on the outlawed National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Songbijit) group, a militant outfit fighting for a separate homeland for the indigenous Bodo tribe.
