It was reported that a speeding train ran over a crowd of people watching fireworks during a religious festival in Amritsar (Punjab state, northern India) on Friday, 19 October 2019, killing at least fifty people. According to the report, the victims crowded the rail track and didn’t see the speeding train coming to their direction. May the souls of the dead rest in peace.
