Viewers Corner News gathered that not less than eight people were shot dead in a violent shooting which occurred today (Friday) at Olympia Einkaufszentrum (OEZ) shopping centre in Munich (southern German city). According to report, three assailants armed with long guns entered the mall and started firing repeatedly on people as the shoppers fled the mall. Armed police are roaming the street searching for these three shooters and according to police orders, public transport including Munich’s main train station have been stopped. Also people are advised to avoid the area because there is a major police operation in the shopping centre. Recently, Europe has been on alert concerning terrorism. Some days ago, a teenage asylum seeker believed to have come from Afghanistan or Pakistan attacked train passengers with axe and knives near Wuerzburg and seriously wounded five people. Last week, a 31-year-old, Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel used a truck to mow down 84 people celebrating Bastille day in Riviera city of Nice (France). In March, there were suicide bomb attacks at Brussels airport and a city metro station killing 32 people.
This is horrible and may the souls of the dead rest in peace.
