NORWEGIAN AIR SIGNED THE UNITED NATIONS FRAMEWORK CONVENTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE (UNFCCC) PLEDGE, BECOMING THE FIRST AIRLINE TO SIGN THE PLEDGE.

It was reported that the Norwegian Air has signed the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) pledge, making it the first airline to sign the UN Climate Pledge. The airline has committed to become climate neutral by 2050. More that 300 organizations, including Microsoft, Sony and BNP Paribas have signed the climate pledge. The organizations who signed the climate pledge are required to measure and report their greenhouse gas emissions, reduce those emissions as much as possible and also to offset any remaining emissions.
