Norman McKinney, a 76-year-old man from Erwin, Tennessee in United States of America fatally shot his wife, May McKinney on Sunday, August 30, 2015. According to him, he thought that his wife stole and hid the money he kept for his church tithe. His wife, May McKinney was rushed to Johnson city medical center but unfortunately, she died on Monday morning after suffering from a gunshot wound in the head. Mr McKinney was arrested on the same Sunday and charged with attempted murder on Monday, August 31, 2015. Norman McKinney who appeared in court on Monday had his bond set at $300,000 and he is still in the Unicoi County jail. This is really a sad news and may the soul of Mrs. May McKinney rest in peace.
