It is a well known fact in Nigeria that things are not working as people of the country expected. Starting from killings, kidnappings, armed robbery and also obtaining by tricks to survive because the economy of the country is not functioning properly. As a democratically elected government which is yet to fully formed a cabinet, the word revolution is not needed from anyone at this point but a well organised protest which would include almost all the people of the country (Nigeria) and in doing so, would send a clear message to the Nigerian authority that the country is passing through severe hardship. Again it is not going to be a one man show. The word “REVOLUTION” no matter how we twist it should not be used as a headline which is the truth, take it or leave it. Such word (revolution) is not appropriate, a more flexible word would have done the magic. However, we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to President Buhari to release Mr Omoyele Sowore since no harm up till now has been recorded, even the protest as planned in most cities across Nigeria did not hold according to our (Viewers Corner News) correspondents in Nigeria and the democratically elected president of Nigeria (President Buhari) is still in power. There are no traces of protesters carrying guns to unseat the president of the country (Nigeria), meaning that it is a harmless protest but a wrong choice of word was used. Mr Omoyele Sowore is only doing his job as an activist but his advisers failed to guide him properly, hence we (Viewers Corner News team) are pleading for his release. Viewers Corner News team would also use this opportunity to appeal to President Buhari to release Mr Sambo Dasuki who has been held since December 2015 without being tried properly and despite all the court orders to release him, he (Mr Sambo Dasuki) is still being detained till today which is not right. Please let him go.
