Peter Obi

No matter how long it takes, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, shall reclaim his stolen mandate.

The All Progressives Congress and the Independent National Electoral Commission of Nigeria came together to rig Nigeria’s presidential election held on February 25, 2023. Immediately, Nigerians loyal to the Labour Party and the democratic system of the country began to complain of the rigged election, and the All Progressives Congress started accusing them of causing violence, which is not correct. The Obidient movement has been very calm till today, waiting for the decision of the court of law before any action can be taken. Our point is that before the 2015 general elections, General Muhamadu Buhari allegedly said this: “If what happened in 2011 repeats itself again in 2015, then the dogs and baboons will be soaked in blood.” Mr. Lai Mohammed, who is also a member of the All Progressives Congress, also said “democracy will fail in Nigeria unless APC wins the 2015 presidential election.” Some members of the All Progressives Congress said in 2015 that they would form a parallel government if elections were rigged by the PDP/ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s government. Nigerians can see that members of the All Progressives Congress said the worst things that should have landed them in trouble, but no Nigerian has ever charged or accused them of committing treasonable offenses. But now they are accusing Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party and the Obidient Movement of causing trouble. They even went so far as to say that Mr. Peter Obi should face treason charges. This is laughable. The Viewers Corner News team is calling on the electoral tribunal in Nigeria to do what is right by going through all the election petitions carefully and deciding in favour of who won the presidential election held on February 25, 2023. Nigerians are watching; let the truth be told because that is the only way justice, peace, and unity in Nigeria can be restored.
