NO MATTER HOW LONG IT MAY TAKE, WE PRAY AND HOPE THAT MR IBRAHIM MAGU’S APPOINTMENT AS THE ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL CRIMES COMMISSION BOSS WOULD BE CONFIRMED BECAUSE HE IS THE BEST PERSON FOR THIS JOB.

Viewers Corner News gathered recently from our correspondent in Abuja (Nigeria) that Mr Ibrahim Magu’s confirmation as the Boss of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has been rejected by the Nigerian senate. Nigerians both home and abroad expected this to happen because most of those corrupt leaders in the senate are in the bad books of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. This group of terrible individuals who call themselves leaders in the senate are the ones deliberating on Mr Ibrahim Magu’s confirmation which they have refused to approve because they know what would happen if he is confirmed hence they are playing politics with him. Our (Viewers Corner News team) take on this is that, he should forget about this confirmation issue for now and focus more on his job as the acting chairman of the commission until when the right time presents itself again, then president Buhari can submit his name to the senate which would come in the near future. Again as long as majority of the people in Nigeria appreciate his good works including the federal government of Nigeria which gave him the job, there is nothing to worry about. He has every right to stay on the acting position as they call it pending when his confirmation goes through. We are at this point reminding those playing politics with Mr Ibrahim Magu’s confirmation to understand that whether he is confirmed now or not, he has the right to remain in his job as the acting chairman of the commission by law, yes he can and the senate has no right to remove him simply because of the reason given by the DSS or SSS as they are called in Nigeria which is not credible enough for the senate not to confirm his appointment. So far so good. he (Mr Ibrahim Magu) has been doing his job nicely and should be confirmed.
