Goodluck Jonathan and President Buhari

NIGERIANS SHOULD STOP SPECULATING ON EX-PRESIDENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN’S CLOSED-DOOR MEETING WITH PRESIDENT BUHARI.

If the opportunity presents itself, ex-president Goodluck Jonathan would gladly come back to contest for the number one job in Nigeria. If he does, he would be making a mockery of himself. However, it is his right as a Nigerian to contest for the post of president. But looking back on how his administration opened the treasury of Nigeria and every PDP party member had access to the treasury of Nigeria. This gave rise to massive capital flight of Nigeria’s hard-earned money and led Nigeria into economic hardship. Such a man and his political party (PDP) may not be considered for such a position until they carry out reforms in their political party. During ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s era, his administration failed to invest in the economy of Nigeria. Instead, they resorted to looting the country’s treasury, which affected Nigeria’s economy badly till today. Therefore, the Viewers Corner News team would advise ex-president Goodluck Jonathan to leave the presidency for now, even if he is nursing the ambition to contest for the number one job. Again, the Viewers Corner News team will plead with Nigerians to stop speculating whether ex-president Goodluck Jonathan will vie for the presidency of Nigeria in 2023. He has every right to visit the president of Nigeria in Aso Rock Villa. However, his visiting the president of Nigeria and having a closed-door meeting with him could be on a different plan. Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan once said that he is not planning to contest for the post of president, so the people of Nigeria should leave it at that for now and focus on reality.
