Senator Ali Ndume, who is the chairman of the senate committee on the army at the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is giving the people of the country the opportunity to call him an incompetent and uninformed leader. Why would he keep on saying that electronic transmission of election results can not work in Nigeria? This statement is laughable and should not have come from a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If electronic transmission of election results can not work, then it is your duty as a leader to make it work. If any Nigerian is supporting Senator Ali Ndume on this issue, then you know that such a person or persons are dubious and do not want the progress of Nigeria. Now hear this; embarking on a journey, no matter how difficult you think that the journey may be, is the beginning of achieving your set objectives. No one should condemn a system he or she has not tried. This means that you can not sit in your comfort zone to discourage a system you have not tried. It is absolutely wrong to do so. Most Nigerians are in support of the electronic transmission of election results, which will reduce or eradicate rigging in the country. Such a system is more appropriate in any democracy. The Viewers Corner News team is appealing to Senator Ali Ndume to drop his negative views on this issue of transmitting election results electronically. Again, no matter your objection, the people of Nigeria have endorsed such a beautiful system, and the president of Nigeria has signed it into law.
