Years back, before the 80s, Nigeria’s universities had foreign students studying for various degree programmes based on our findings. But today, under the APC/President Buhari’s led government, such a possibility is no longer there. In a country where strike action is happening at all times, no one would like to leave his or her country to go there and study. Also, the insecurity in Nigeria will prevent foreign students from coming to the country to study. The Viewers Corner News team is appealing to whoever will take over the leadership of Nigeria in 2023 to restore the beautiful educational system that was in place before these elderly politicians took over power and destroyed the educational system with their “I don’t care attitude” while their children are studying in the best universities abroad, which is not fair.
