Nigeria as a country shot itself so badly by absorbing some alleged repentant killers of their people into the country’s army. No country in the world can do that. Instead, those repentant killers who were, at some point, dangerous criminals to the national security of Nigeria should be engaged in another area entirely and not a sensitive division like the country’s army. It is very dangerous and wrong to admit those repentant killers into the army because they can never be 100 percent loyal to the government and the people of Nigeria, which is the truth. These individuals are killers and will always remain so. Now hear this: if the opportunity presents itself again, they will still kill, and that is why, at some point, the military, which was the envy of the world, has now become a low-class institution, just because the government of Nigeria admitted all sorts of irresponsible individuals into the once prestigious army. This is part of the reason the Nigerian army is no longer respected as a result of the manipulative agenda of those in power in Nigeria, which is very sad. Another point is that the Nigerian army should be reformed if they truly want to end insurgency in Nigeria. Again, stop admitting those repentant killers of their people into the military because their activities pose a severe danger to the national security of Nigeria. This is the truth; take it or leave it.
