Nigeria is now a lawless country. The evidence is everywhere for the world to see.

The Viewers Corner News team joins millions of Nigerians both at home and abroad, including those with good intentions for the country, in calling on the government of Nigeria to retire the Boss of the DSS of the country because he has caused severe pain to the people of Nigeria. We also sympathize with those Nigerians who are badly hurt by the terrible actions of the DSS. This agency of the government has refused to obey court orders, which is sad. Again, going into the court of law to forcefully arrest Mr. Godwin Emefiele, the former Central Bank Governor of Nigeria, whom the High Court in Nigeria has granted bail, is a slap in the face of the judiciary of Nigeria and should be condemned completely. This is unacceptable. Another horrible aspect was when a Correctional Facility Officer in uniform was being dragged out of the court by DSS like a criminal. Perhaps the Correctional Officer was trying to enforce the order of the court by keeping Mr. Godwin Emefiele until he fulfilled his bail conditions, but the DSS objected to it because they were working as instructed by the power above, as they claimed. It is like they are above the law of Nigeria; hence, they disobey all court orders. Again, we would use this opportunity to inform all Nigerians that, under a democratic system, such brutality and irresponsible acts exhibited by the DSS should be condemned by all peace-loving people of the world. Another point we are trying to make here is that All Progressives Congress leaders, past and present, have been acting with impunity, right from the days of ex-president Buhari’s leadership of Nigeria. APC has never obeyed court orders; its members believe that there is nothing anyone can do to them, which is so sad. What APC failed to understand is that someday a government of the people of Nigeria will be installed, and when that happens, all the atrocities committed by the APC-led government and their agents will be revisited, and whoever is found guilty shall face the law.
