China is one of the largest trading partners in the continent of Africa which is very nice and now information reaching us revealed that the President Buhari’s administration may favour China in terms of contracts to assist in nation building. This is a welcome news but Viewers Corner is appealing to President Buhari to be cautious in dealing with Chinese companies because they are known world wide for the production of sub-standard goods, this is the truth. President Buhari’s government should tell them to step up a bit concerning the quality of goods/jobs they would be bringing in Nigeria. We also noted that China has so far been transparent in all her dealings with the Nigerian nation and till now have not been involved in corrupt activities with some Nigerian politicians which is very good.
Once again, we pray and hope that the cooperation between Nigeria, China and other African countries would be fruitful. We would also use this opportunity to appeal to China to be honest in producing more quality goods that would be exported to African countries starting from now because the made in China products being sent to Africa are of low standard.
