NIGERIA DEFEATED DENMARK 2-0 TO REACH THE SEMI-FINAL OF RIO 2016 OLYMPICS MEN’S FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT.

Nigeria’s U23 has defeated Denmark with 2-0 in the quarter finals of the men’s soccer tournament at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics on Saturday to reach semi-final of the match. John Obi Mikel (the Dream Team’s captain) scored the first goal in the 15th-minute of the match and with 30 minutes remaining, Aminu Umar sealed the win for the Nigeria team at the Itaipava Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador, Brazil. Nigeria will face Germany in the semi final on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, ( Germany defeated Portugal with 4-0).
Brazil vs Colombia

Brazil also defeated Colombia with 2:0 and they will play against Honduras in the semi-final of the men’s football Olympics on Wednesday. Honduras defeated South Korea with 1:0 in the quarter finals.
