Everything should not be about the federal government of Nigeria, most especially on issues of economic growth. We (Viewers Corner News team) believe that some state governors in Nigeria are mostly to be blamed for not using their federal allocations properly to take care of the people of their various states across Nigeria. The federal government of Nigeria pays allocation on monthly basis which runs into billions of Naira, the internal generated revenues from various states are there and so many areas where state governors can get money to make their states working better but because of corruption, greed and lack of foresight have made it very impossible for most governors in Nigeria to get things done the right way. We (Viewers Corner News team) also believe that there are lots of insecurities in Nigeria which the administration of President Buhari has not been able to control and to a large extent has affected so many businesses across the country (Nigeria), hence Viewers Corner News team is appealing to President Buhari and his government to change strategies on these troubling issues across Nigeria. Another horrible example is coming from Bauchi state government which allegedly has budgeted over 6 billion Naira to reconstruct the state government house at this critical period.
Although there is nothing wrong reconstructing a state house but certainly not this period of economic backwardness, except if the state house has been declared unfit for use but as long as no such complain has been made known to the people of Bauchi state and Nigeria in general, Viewers Corner News team do not think it is a good idea to spend such huge amount of money on that project at this period of low economic growth. Again, any governor in Nigeria who would embark on such huge project at this period of time in our (Viewers Corner News team) opinion has nothing to offer to the people of his state. Everyone should regard such governor as a very corrupt and deceitful leader who is looking for a means to embezzle state money through reconstructing a government house. This madness should stop. As a governor, work to improve the economic situation of your state so that all the people living in your state would have enough on their table to eat by encouraging massive agricultural projects in your state.
