Nigeria as a nation has the man-power to grow from being called a third world country to an advance nation but first the citizens should have in their system the ability to accept and face challenges. Nigeria should follow the good works of various nations and their success stories on how they made it to the top. This will serve as a guide and encouragement for Nigerians to invent and manage their system effectively. Again, Nigeria should eradicate corruption completely or at least reduce it to the lowest level. Create health/social care services for every Nigerian citizen, provide good sources of water, constant electricity including general overhauling of the Nigerian system. With this, Nigeria can earn respect from the international community and also stand on her feet. The amount of money allegedly looted by some Nigerian politicians and government officials with impunity from the government treasury could have been used to rebuild the economy which will in turn bring positive development to Nigeria. We (Viewers Corner News team) have independently conducted a research, very comprehensive one on the “Possibilities of an automobile manufacturing industry in Nigeria”. This however should be a government project/venture. The research shows that Nigeria can produce her own vehicles and have it on the road just like every other nation in the world. Our research also revealed that lots of Nigerians hold top positions in advance nations like Germany, United States, France, United Kingdom in a similar industry, Nigerian government can bring them back to Nigeria. Some of them like to come back to help rebuild the economy of the country if only the incentives are good which also will include security. Nigeria should take example from South Korea. In the past, South Korea was like Nigeria but today with hard work, dedication, honesty, integrity and the zeal to succeed as one nation, they are producing cars using Japanese technology. Nigeria can do better than South Korea. Though it may take some time to achieve good results but we should not forget that there is no good thing in life that comes so easy, only with hard work, dedication and honesty that can take the country (Nigeria) to the top. Nigerian citizens are passing through hardship on daily basis as a result of wrong investment. The country (Nigeria) should invest more on technology which would in the long run bring positive change in the economy of Nigeria.
