We want to remind the militants in the Niger delta area of the country (Nigeria) that the only best way to achieve peace is through dialogue and diplomacy, certainly not through force. We (Viewers Corner) sincerely applaud the decision of the militant group to surrender their arms to the federal government of Nigeria. Honestly, this a welcome news and the best decision any militant group has ever made. Again one thing everyone should understand at this point is that destroying the pipeline would not solve any problem instead it will create more problems for the people living in those area of the country including the militants themselves. Even if the government of Nigeria is going to lose huge amount of money as a result of the damage done to the pipelines, sincerely the government would always survive no matter the pressure from any angle but whoever that destroys the pipeline has caused serious environmental problem which is not good for those people living in that area of the country.
We should also remember that all the politicians and other big names in the country (Nigeria) do not live in those areas so whatever that happens there may not affect them directly but only those in that part of the country will always feel the pains health wise, so when we are doing things we should always think first before carrying out any kind of operation. Therefore, we are appealing to other militant groups that have not decided whether to surrender their weapons to the government of Nigeria to please take example from those who have decided to surrender their arms to the federal government of Nigeria and do equally the same too, it is better to make peace through dialogue and diplomacy instead of fighting. This method would always bring a permanent peace to the Niger delta area and we (Viewers Corner) pray and hope that as the militants have agreed to surrender their arms to the federal government of Nigeria, let it be for good. Let everyone join hands and help build Nigeria to greatness.
