Niels Hoegel, the 42-year-old German killer nurse who murdered 85 patients in his care has been sentenced to life in prison. Judge Sebastian Buehrmann while sentencing Niels Hoegel on Thursday called his killing spree “incomprehensible”. According to the report our correspondent gathered, Niels Hoegel murdered his victims at random with lethal injections between 2000 and 2005. He was caught in the act in 2005 while injecting an unprescribed medication into a patient in Delmenhorst. In 2008, Hoegel was sentenced to seven years in prison for attempted murder. He has already spent ten years in jail for a previous life in prison he received for six other murders.
