Viewers Corner News correspondent in Wellington (New Zealand) reported that Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand said at a news conference on Monday, 5 October that Coronavirus restrictions would be lifted in Auckland (New Zealand’s largest city) this week. According to the report, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern expressed confidence that a second wave of COVID-19 virus has almost been eliminated in Auckland. On Wednesday, Auckland will move to level 1, thereby joining other cities in the country after no new cases have been reported in the city (Auckland) for 10 consecutive days. The lifting of restrictions in Auckland means that there would be no physical distancing rules in bars and restaurants, also no 100 people limit on gatherings in the city.
