One of the worst issues any country would face is when her medical sector begin to embark on strike just like we are seeing in Nigeria. The Nigeria’s Resident Doctors are saying that they would not work anymore until their demands are met which in our (Viewers Corner News team) opinion is quite appropriate because no matter what happens, doctors and others should not be owed. These are people working tirelessly to save lives and should be paid their salaries and allowances without delay. We (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on the federal government of Nigeria to look into the request of these Resident Doctors and see how it can be solved as soon as possible. Generally, we (Viewers Corner News team) have been talking about salary and pension issues for sometime, it is absolutely wrong to owe any worker who has put in his or her best to assist in the growth of the economy. Workers should be paid their salaries and benefits as at when due. If you do not pay them, how will they feed their families and pay their monthly bills? Viewers Corner News team is calling on the federal government of Nigeria and state government to pay workers’ salaries as at when due including pensioners.
