The Viewers Corner News team understands that when someone is working under any government, no matter how bad the said government is performing, it is normal for the appointee to speak in favour of that government. Our point here is that Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, who is the Finance Minister of Nigeria, said that the economy of Nigeria is doing very well. This is the most horrible statement we have heard in a while. This goes to show that Mrs. Zainab Ahmed’s ability to evaluate and manage the finances of Nigeria is questionable. So many companies have closed down and some have left the country because it is no longer conducive for them to do business in Nigeria. Today, under the APC/President Buhari’s led government, the naira is above 600 to one dollar. On Nigeria’s roads, terrorists and bandits operate freely with impunity. The APC/President Buhari’s government spent Nigeria’s hard earned money recklessly without knowing the implications and how it will negatively affect the future generation of the country. Despite all these, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, who is the finance minister of Nigeria, sits in her comfort zone to say that the APC/President Buhari’s government is doing very well. This is laughable. It would have been better for Mrs. Zainab Ahmed to stay neutral and not speak about the economy of Nigeria. Just do her work as President Buhari instructed her to do. However, the majority of Nigerians believe that the APC/President Buhari’s government is a total failure. It is only a few of those benefiting from the APC/President Buhari’s government that are still supporting the government. Even those who campaigned for APC/President Buhari’s government in the past are now against the government because of the poor handling of the economy of Nigeria. This is the truth; take it or leave it.
