Information reaching the Viewers Corner News from our correspondent in Abuja revealed that the minister of state for petroleum in Nigeria allegedly said that the price of petrol in Nigeria is cheaper when compared to what is being sold in other parts of the world. So buying it at three hundred naira per liter is not bad. What the minister (Mr. Timipre Sylva) failed to understand is this; how many Nigerians can afford to buy petrol at three hundred naira per liter when the minimum wage is only 30 thousand naira per month? So saying that petrol in Nigeria is cheaper should not have come from a minister, knowing fully well that so many Nigerians can not afford it. However, the Viewers Corner News team is appealing to Nigerian voters to elect a leader who would clean up the country by sending those corrupt, greedy, and incompetent politicians to retirement. They have outstayed their usefulness in office and have nothing to offer to the people of Nigeria. Again, these groups of politicians do not care about the welfare of Nigerians.
