PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI HAS APPROVED THE DIVISION OF NIGERIA NATIONAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION (NNPC) INTO FOUR INDEPENDENT COMPANIES.

Viewers Corner News was informed that President Buhari of Nigeria has approved the division of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) into four autonomous companies. This was made known by the Minister of State for Petroleum resources in Nigeria, Mr Ibe Kachikwu in a town hall meeting in Abuja (Nigeria).
Mr. Ibe Kachikwu revealed that NNPC will be broken into four components; the upstream company, the downstream company, midstream company (the gas and power company) and the refining group holding company. He also stated that these four companies will work independently with a quasi managing directors with the aim of delivering profits for the organisation which will be remitted into government account.
