In the recent survey we (Viewers Corner News team) conducted, Mr Atiku Abubakar who is the presidential flag bearer of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria was favoured by most Nigerians as a man that can lead the country (Nigeria) come 2019 and his rating was high until his running mate (ex-governor Peter Obi) was announced to the Nigerian public. Ever since then, some voters in Nigeria who would have voted for Mr Atiku Abubakar are now saying that he has lost their votes most especially in the south east and south west. Though the rating is too early to conclude because the general election is still few months ahead, things can change. Those in the south east said that Mr Peter Obi who was the ex-governor of Anambra state (Nigeria) would not have been a better choice if proper consultations were carried out before choosing him as a running mate for Mr Atiku Abubakar. Although ex-governor Peter Obi did well in Anambra state (Nigeria) during his tenure as a governor but majority of the people in that region see him as a betrayer and a man who is not credible to lead them.They said that the late Ojukwu brought him to APGA which gave him the popularity and mandate to vie and win the governorship of Anambra state (Nigeria) but at the end after being popular within the region and Nigeria in general, he left the political party (APGA) and joined ex-president Goodluck Jonathan of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria because he thought that ex-president Goodluck Jonathan would win another tenure so that he can be made a minister. Whether true or not, those who are against his being a running mate of Mr Atiku Abubakar are nursing such wrong feelings and have vowed not to cast their votes for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria come 2019.
Sometime ago, ex-governor Peter Obi was making a speech at a conference and in line with his illustrations, he said that he has been using one wrist watch for 17 years because he does not believe in wasteful spending and as long as that wrist watch is serving him, he does not need to change it. Meaning that he is a moderate human being but this is a lie.
Ex-governor Peter Obi of Anambra state (Nigeria) has been seen several times with different wrist watches at various occasions. These are little lies which are damaging and should not have been told by a leader. Again, they are more credible individuals in the south east who can be Mr Atiku Abubakar’s running mate if proper consultations were made certainly not Mr Peter Obi as those we (Viewers Corner News team) spoke with claimed.
The federal government of Nigeria under the leadership of president Buhari has paid the past unpaid pension allowances for Nigerian workers who retired many years ago and majority of people in the south east have thrown their supports for president Buhari based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings. This move has made the Nigerian pensioners very happy, and this is the type of project we (Viewers Corner News team) expect every government in Nigeria to implement. Based on this new development including others, president Buhari has no match in the country (Nigeria), believe it or not he is going to be re-elected to office come 2019.
Our (Viewers Corner News team) advice to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria is this: Start planning from 2023 by doing your home work properly to see if another chance can be giving to PDP by Nigerian voters but for 2019 general election, president Buhari has already won. It is just a matter of time.
