Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN), the Nigeria attorney-general of the federation has stated that there will be no plea bargain for any individual facing corruption cases in Nigeria. According to report, the attorney-general made this known when the BringBackOurGirls campaign group paid him a visit recently in his office (Abuja) and he also disclosed that the federal government had put a strong team of public prosecutors at various courts in Nigeria to see that the war against corruption produces a good result in the country.
Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN) also accused past governments in Nigeria of compromising investigation thereby allowing the treasury looters to escape the law. This is a welcomed news and Viewers Corner applaud the federal government in its effort to ensure that corruption is eradicated in Nigeria.
