MR ABDUL-AZEEZ SULEIMAN, THE SPOKESPERSON OF A GROUP IN THE NORTHERN PART OF NIGERIA ISSUED A THREAT TO GOVERNORS AND ANYONE THAT WOULD OPPOSE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF RUGA SETTLEMENT IN STATES ACROSS THE COUNTRY (NIGERIA).

We (Viewers Corner News team) want to advise and at the same time caution Mr Abdul Azeez Suleiman and his Northern groups that no single individual or groups would impose an agenda (RUGA SETTLEMENT) to the people of the country (Nigeria) most especially when majority of Nigerians both home and abroad are not in support of such program which they believed would not be in the best interest of the people of Nigeria. RUGA settlement according to majority of Nigerians is not a good project which Nigerians would not welcome in any of the states across Nigeria because they believe that it is a program meant for a particular group of people in the country (Nigeria) with hidden agendas and if implemented, would create disaster in states. Majority of Nigerians can not be wrong at the same time and in any democratic system, the people are the power so if they are opposing such project (RUGA), then it has to be abolished completely. Another point most Nigerians who spoke to Viewers Corner News correspondents in Nigeria said that Sambisa forest is huge and if the federal government of Nigeria is bent on implementing such program (RUGA), they should take it there which sounds nice in our opinion. We (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on Abdul Azeez Suleiman and his northern groups to direct their efforts towards building such project (RUGA) in Sambisa forest which is the wish of majority of Nigerians. It is also not a must do thing that governors in every state in Nigeria will have to give out a portion of land from their states to the federal government of Nigeria based on the interpretation of the constitution of Nigeria. If any governor refuses to give out land to the federal government of Nigeria for any project, the governor has the backing of the constitution of Nigeria. We (Viewers Corner News team) would also advise Abdul Azeez Suleiman and others in the northern part of the country not to make Nigeria ungovernable for President Buhari because doing so would affect him personally and his political party (APC) too. Meaning that 2023 General elections may not be in their favour. All Progressives Congress (APC) winning 2023 General elections with what is going on in Nigeria is going to be very difficult except another beautiful tune is played.
