Some people may argue that if you are pursing a cause and it is not coming your way, you apply force to get what you want just like we have seen Nnamdi Kanu and his group treading towards that line in Nigeria. We (Viewers Corner News team) disagree with such idea most especially at this period of time and taking into consideration the history of Biafran war which millions of innocent people lost their lives which should not have been so assuming they were proper consultations. However that was in the past as history, now if you listen to Nnamdi Kanu’s speeches since he started this agitation with his group, majority would agree with us that he is not going about it the right way. There was a time he said that they would carry arms if their request were not met and they expected those Igbos living in the United States of America to assist them in this mission as alleged. Such statement is uncalled for and should not have been made. Recently it was alleged that Nnamdi Kanu called those Igbo people that are supporting one Nigeria pigs etc and these are people who may one day decide to give him a listening ear and he was calling them dirty names. How do you think, you would get support from them? Even Ojukwu himself who brought Biafra said before his death that Biafra should be forgotten, let everyone work for the unity of one Nigeria which is the right thing to do. Everyone expects Nnamdi Kanu and his group to abide by that principle if they really have regard and respect for the late Ojukwu who brought Biafra. Again those in the northern part of Nigeria who are using hate speeches and war songs as alleged should kindly stop from doing so. That Nnamdi Kanu has lost his way does not mean that they should dance to his tune, show more maturity in a situation like this and always remember that two wrongs can never make it right. Again we are one before God Almighty and those northern brothers and sisters should understand that a large number of Igbos who matters in the society have never supported Nnamdi Kanu and his group, therefore this would always let them know that majority of the Igbos are standing for the unity of one Nigeria and shall be so. Let everyone persevere and work hard for the unity of one Nigeria because it is always great to have more ethnic groups living together as one big family. There is always joy in it which we (Viewers Corner News team) plead that all Nigerians should persevere.
